This past week I’ve spent quite a bit of time thinking about how I can organize. I’ve always tried to be organized but since the stroke it is more important. So what have I been organizing? Mostly I’ve been organizing my time. If I can be more efficient with my time I can start meeting my personal goals. After all, how can I be engaged if I don’t make time to engage. Right? Well, it makes sense to me.
One of my personal goals is to blog regularly. I spent some time looking for some link ups or blog hops to participate in. I wasn’t really finding what I was looking for when I realized that what I was looking for was staring me in the face. I started blogging again when I started participating in Zentangle challenges before I realized that they are a type of link up. With this in mind I went to look up the days that the challenges were issued. Into the planner they went!
I woke up Monday morning ready to pop over to The Diva to check out her challenge. I’ve promised myself that I will participate in at least one challenge a week. With this in mind I went to see if I was inspired by her challenge #253. I was excited to see that this week’s challenge is for the newest tangle from Rick and Maria called Molygon. Somehow I didn’t get the newsletter with the instructions in it but the Diva was kind enough to repost them there. Of course you can always pop over and check out the step out at Tangle Patterns.
This one was a fun one to draw. I don’t usually draw this large but I really felt like having a large Molygon. Once it was down the idea to place Knightsbridge in the centers just fit. It was fun to do if not a little challenging to actually maintain the correct patterning. I think the effort was worth it. It feels good to finish a tile. I had initially planned to finish it in one day but my good friend Holly had her first show to get ready for so I spent a bit of time with her. In the end, I still managed to get it done before the week was done, so I’m putting it in the win column.
Until next time…
