This week finds me a bit late to the challenge. Our darling daughter is getting married this week and there were a few things that needed attending to. Nonetheless, I was able to find some time to get in some tangling! So here we are.
Through some miracle, I will never understand I finished this in under an hour. That includes practice time and shading! I have no idea how this feat was managed. I do have a tendency to get distracted but not today. I’m going to say it was because I was working with an official Zentangle tile and leave it there.
The challenge this week was to play with Ing. This is a fun little tangle and I really itched to make a bookmark. If the paper had already been cut I probably would have. As it was I had a tile at hand and so that was what I used. The Diva helpfully linked to the instruction on Ing but I thought I’d also show the picture.
I also felt inspired to use a string. Since I didn’t have a number handy in my head that was hollering out to be used, I let a random number generator tell me to use String 102. Silly random number generator. It made for an interesting design. I think I’ll use that trick again another day.
I really wanted to keep going on this but something in my brain insisted that I leave tons of white space. I did have a little fun adding points to random edges. I will also admit to giggling just a little when I added the trail of bubbles. Lessons learned? ING does not like to make tight corners. Until next time…
