We found a new yummy we’ve been enjoying. It’s going on the grill tonight. Have I mentioned I’m loving the grill?
With my band it’s hard to eat some of the things that I liked to eat before. Hot dogs are completely out. This isn’t a bad thing because it’s not like they are one of the healthiest foods out there. Brats I can eat from time to time but occasionally they don’t agree with me.
So the other day when we were out grocery shopping and got a taste of Johnsonville Brat Patties I was in heaven. Even better, no beef so Grandpa can eat them. I also love that they are frozen so they just wait for us until we are in the mood.
They are going on the grill tonight with some sliced red potatoes. I used Pinterest for some inspiration but didn’t find what I was looking for so I made up my own.
If you aren’t lucky enough to have this particular spice it’s a blend of chopped onion, minced garlic, Mediterranean oregano, whole anise seeds, rosemary, bell peppers and basil. I freely admit even though it’s labeled Pasta Blend I’ve never used it on pasta as we don’t eat much pasta but the flavor is amazing.
